Trip Introduction

DAY 01 – KATHMANDU

Our staff members of “Getaway” will greet you at airport on arrival and transfer you to hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. After short relaxation at the hotel, you will be taken for sightseeing to Pashupatinath.This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out. While you are not allowed into the temple if you are not a Hindu, the grounds surrounding the temple usually have a fascinating crowd of the faithful. Overnight stay will be at hotel.

DAY 02 – KATHMANDU FULL DAY

This morning your tour will take you for a visit to Patan. Also known as  Lalitpur  , the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan's central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: It’s an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathamandu or Bhaktapur. Within the city also lies the Tibetan refugee center, home to most of the valley's Tibetan population.  While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.  For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. You will then go to Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.

DAY 3 - KATHMANDU TO POKHARA

You will be taken to Pokhara (930 m) via road drive which will take 07 hrs from Kathmandu. To spend night hotel rooms will be provided on BB basis.

DAY 04 -POKHARA TO GHACHOK .

On the fourth day of the tour you will drive to Hyangja and Trek to Ghachok (1470 m) for 05 hours. At night you will be taken to hotel or lodges with full board.

DAY 05 - GHACHOK TO GHALEGAUN .

We will trek from Ghachok to Ghalegaun (2510m) for 05 hrs on our fifth day. Hotel or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 06 - GHALEGAUN TO NYAULI KHARKA .

Our group will trek from Ghalegaun to Nyauli Kharka (2500 m) for 06 hrs. Tents or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 07 - NYAULI KHARKA TO PARJE .

Our trekking will continue for this day as well from Nyauli Kharka to Parje (2010m) for 05 hrs. Tents or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 08 -  PARJE.

This day you can explore Siklis, the biggest Gurung village in west Nepal and know about them. Tents or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 09 - PARJE TO NAMARJUNG.

A 06 hours trek will be done Trek from Parje to Namarjung (1577 m) on this day. Tents or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 10 -  NAMARJUNG TO THULOKOT.

This day will also be full of trekking experiences for our guest, where we will Trek from Namarjung to Thulokot (1419 m) for 05 hrs. Tents or Lodges will be available with full board services for night.

DAY 11 - THULOKOT – POKHARA (B, L)

On this day you will enjoy a trek from Thulokot to Pokhara (930m) whixh is of 02 hrs. After that you will be taken to the hotel. At night you will be staying at hotel on BB basis.

DAY 12 - POKHARA FULL DAY

This morning you will go for an excursion trip to Sarangkot. The village of Sarangkot (1590 m) is situated on the top of a hillock just north of Phewa Lake. One gets to see beautiful views of sunrise and sunset from Sarangkot as the sun splashes hues of red on the Himalayan range. On a clear day, the panoramic ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Ganesh Himal can be observed from here.

Later you will visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, was brought from India. Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar; hence, a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave. Our trip will be staying at hotel for night.

DAY 13 - POKHARA TO CHITWAN

From Pokhara you will be taken to Chitwan on drive which is at 180 Km distance and takes 04 hours. Chitwan is one of Asia's premier wildlife reserves.  Its 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species.

You can enjoy Jungle observation at Chitwan National park with the highlight being the Elephant Safari in the jungles. Other activities are Canoeing, Dugout canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching. Hotel room is available for our guest to spend nights.

DAY 14 – CHITWAN FULL DAY

Jungle observation at Chitwan National park is full of excitement for the nature lovers. Other activities are Canoeing, Dugout canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching. You will also be guided by Naturalist who will help you to identify the nature of wildlife and various plants and animals. 

DAY 13 – CHITWAN TO KATHMANDU

You will fly back to Kathmandu from Bharatppur Airport at Chitwan. During evening time you can freely wander around Kathmndu valley and explore it on your own.

Later, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey.
