DAY 01: SHIVAPURI NATIONAL PARK.
Drive to Budhanilkantha Temple. Walk to Shivapuri Hill. Viewing the birds / packed lunch is served. A short walking to the top of the hill.
Budhanilkantha Temple is located at the base of Shivapuri Hill within the Kathmandu Valley on the northern side. Its also known as mytical Budhanilkantha Temple or Narayan, Jalasayan laying on ananta sesa, in the cosmic ocean. The deity about 1000 years old. Lord Vishnu is about 5 meters ( 17 Feets) long and lying in a 13 meters ( 43 feets) long tank, as if floating with his legs crossed with his sleeping body resting on the coils of ananta and his eleven hooded heads.
Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is the ninth National Park in Nepal ans was establihed in 2002. It is located in th country`s mid- hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak of 2,730 m (8,960 Feet) altitude. The areas ha alway been an important water catchment area, supplying the Kathmandu several hundred thousands cubic liter of water. The Park is famous for Indian Leopard, Jungle Cat, Large Indian Civet, Golden Jackalo, Himnalayan Blacvk Bear, Yellow Thorated Merten, Small Asian Mangoose, Himalayan Goral, Barking deer, Wild Boar, Rhesus Monkey, Chinese Pangolin, Indian Crested Porcupine, Himalayan Pika, Black – naped hare, Himalayan squirrl, Fawn- Colored mouse, Brown – toothed shrew and Black rat. On a higher elevation a variety of medicinal herbs proper. Botanists have recorded 129 species of mushrooms and 2,122 floral species, out of which 449 are vascular and 16 are endemic plants. Indded it is one of the famous birds Paradise. Back to Hotel Park Side at Budhanilkantha.
DAY 02: NAGARJUN DAY TOUR
Drive to Balaju. Walk through Nagarjun forest. Explore the birds. Packed lunch is served. Drive back to hotel.
Situated 5 Kilometers north west of Kathmandu, Balaju Water Garden is an ideal place for rest and relaxation. The Park features along line of twenty two water spouts, each oif which where ornately, carved with crocodile heads. During the mid -18th Century. The garden also includes many other ponds, some of them containing large and small varities of Fish.
On the hill behind Balaju is the walled Nagarjun Forest Reserve also known as the Raniban. A winding unpaved road and a much more direct footpath lead to the summit ( 20,95 meters) which is popular buddhist pilgrimage site. There is a viewing tower offers one of the valleys widest mountain panoramas, stretching on a clear day all th way from the Annapurnas to Langtang Lirung via Machhapuchhare, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Chitwan national park Evening Cultural programme and welcome dinner .Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Full day jungle activities including Bird watching, canoeing, jungle walk, Elephant ride, and view sunset from the bank of Rapti River. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Full day Bird watching including visit of Twenty-Thousand Lake, one of the famous lake in Chitwan National Park, also known as Bird’s Paradise.PM: Bird watching and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel
DAY 06: CHITWAN - POKHARA
Drive to Pokhara. Transfer to the hotel. Half day sightseeing of Pokhara City including Bindhyabasini temple, Davis’s fall, Gupteshwar Cave. Overnight at the hotel – BB basis.
DAY 07: POKHARA VALLEY
Drive to Sarangkot to view sunrise over the Himalayas. Explore the birds with close view of Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and many more… Drive to Lumle and explore the birds inside the agriculture farm. Overnight at the hotel – BB basis.
DAY 08: POKHARA VALLEY
Drive to Begnas Lake, walking about 2-3 hours around Sundari Danda forest and around Begnas Lake. Explore the birds with close view of Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and many more… Drive back to hotel.
DAY 09: KATHMANDU
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
